spacedalyssa:

he only likes gamtav and johnvriska hELP.

i think its funny that you are talking to him about pairings. obviously he likes other pairings, i have asked him dont worry. but he is really a funny and cool guy. and he is a scorpio, so i guess you could call it a war… but its more like a friendly chat about homestuck pairings. that you both have different views on.

in the last six years i’ve lived in this house at my dads,

ive never ever seen a smoke detector in my room until now.

i’m trying to figure out if it’s been there the entire time or if it was just put in.

i saw one the last time i came over… it has been there. and i bet there are more in the house that you dont know about until they take off their invisibility cloak.

Sheldon Cooper > any scientist ever to live!!!

Best fucking paper i ever wrote!!!!!!!

Sheldon Cooper

Throughout history, we have had many great minds: Niels Bohr, Albert Einstein, and Nicola Tesla. But not until the great Sheldon Cooper came along did we have one of the greatest minds ever to enter into Theoretical Physics. Sheldon Cooper was born on March 24th 1980, and has been producing valuable information to the world of science since the time he stopped breast feeding from his mother at the age of 2 (BBT wiki 1). And with his eidetic memory, it steadily became easier for him not to forget things, therefore enabling him to accomplish much greater tasks. In the years that were before his earning of his PhD, he conducted many experiments in which testing many theories of science. Although afterward his experiments grew into theories of his own, and led him into Theoretical Particle Physics. This gave him insight onto many new subjects in witch to study. Sheldon has contributed many papers and theories into helping the Physics world, but greater than most of his work was his experiment with monopoles in the North Pole (Wiki SC 3).

In his early years of childhood Sheldon was obviously set apart from the other children, and was known as a child prodigy. Although his classmates, neighbors, brother, sister, mother and father all thought he was just a huge Smart Alec, and rubbed it in too much too often. Living in the East (Galveston, Texas) he was forced on many occasions to attend church with his family and was not allowed much access to the necessary materials that were needed for many of the bigger experiments he wanted to conduct. As for the experiments themselves, there were several, including: building a working CAT scanner (he was flown to the hospital because of a mishap and received radiation burns from it), a so called “Death Ray”, an armed robot made from an “easy bake oven”, and a stairs experiment which resulted in the break in his fathers clavicle bone (Wiki SC 1).

At age 11 he skipped strait from the 5th grade to going to college at the University of Texas at Austin. Within the time of his graduation, Sheldon was interested in obtaining a titanium centrifuge to separate radioactive isotopes, but was duly disappointed when he got a motorized dirt bike instead. He also started working with high powered lasers, and then when he was thirteen, attempted to build a nuclear reactor in a shed to fuel the whole town with free power. Unfortunately he was told by a government agent that he could not legally obtain yellowcake uranium for the nuclear reactor to be powered (BBT S 1-2). He finally graduated at age fourteen summa cum laude, and was the youngest person ever to receive the Stevenson award at fourteen and a half. Sheldon was awarded his first Doctorate at the age of sixteen, and received his first job 4 years later at MIT. Before his job opportunity he was a visiting professor at the Heidelberg Institute in Germany age fifteen and examined perturbative amplitudes in N=4 supersymmetric theories leading to a re-examination of the ultraviolet properties of multiloop N=8 supergravity using modern twistor theory at age sixteen. For his contributions to theoretical physics, he won a Caltech Chancellor’s Award for Science (BBT wiki 1).

After earning his job at the university, Sheldon began working on string theory research. In the 9 years that he has had his job, he has switched between bosonic string theory to heterotic string theory, reconciled the black hole information paradox using a string network condensate approach and worked on time-dependent backgrounds in string theory, specifically quantum field theory, in D-dimensional de Sitter space. With Rajesh, his friend and college, he has worked on the string theory implications of gamma rays from dark matter annihilations and considered a method for optimizing a 500 GeV particle detector to this end (BBT wiki 1). But these were child’s play to the work he did when he was in the North Pole in search of slow-moving magnetic monopoles. Sheldon’s thought to be confirmed data that proved monopoles exist, was actually a cruel prank played by his expedition team, and also friends, by using an electric can opener. Had his work actually been successful, it would have proven string theory, and made major advancements in the world of Physics. It was a sad coincidence that his work proved to be invalid, and he became the laughing stock of the entire university for some time (BBT S 2-3). Although, some of his more successful work has been turning fish into “fish nightlights” when feeding them extracts from jellyfish in small quantities to make them glow in the dark (BBT S 1). And the various papers that he, and sometimes Leonard, write on supersolids, M-theory, and that Higgs boson is a black hole traveling backwards through time (Wiki SC 3) (BBT S 5).

Sheldon is one of the better Physicists of today, and has contributed more than his fair share of data to society. Without his work, the science society today would not be as far as it is, and we would not have a great role model to look up to as our superior. Although not regularly said, Sheldon confirmed that he is diagnosed with Asperger syndrome, and has OCD (Wiki SC 3-4). He now lives happily (sort-of) in Pasadena California with his roommate Leonard, and attends MIT for a career in Theoretical Physics, exploring gamma rays from dark matter annihilations with his co-worker Rajesh (BBT S 2-3). And I think I speak for everyone when I say that I look forward to his future work.
